Research Papers

I have authored several research, service and technical papers addressing a wide range of issues within the organization. These papers have focused on enhancing the quality of facilities and modernizing the organization by incorporating the latest technologies. These research and service papers provide insightful recommendations and viable solutions to drive organizational growth, efficiency, and modernization. Some of the major topics covered include:

  • Establishment of patient facilitation center at PAF Hospital. Keeping in view the increasingly competitiveness in healthcare landscape, a unique business model comprising of various essentially required activities like Practice Operations, Clinical Services, Post-Acute Coordination, Virtual Care Facilitations and Administrative Services were suggested to PAF Hospital to improve patients’ experience, increase efficiency and to enhance insight and visibility. (Quality of services resulted in achievement of hospital’s breakeven point within a short span of 1.5 years)

  • As a founding member of Serene Air (Pvt) Ltd, I led the planning and implementation of its ICT infrastructure. I authored a foundational paper outlining the necessity of an ICT department, the role of cloud services, and the minimum hardware and staffing requirements for efficient business support. The paper was accepted as a guideline document, with its recommendations being implemented in phases.

  • Articulated the complete Data Center Network Documentation of the colossal voice and data network of PAF Hospital (Unit-II) Islamabad.

  • Authored a comprehensive documentation for the seamless execution of the Pre-Retirement Preparatory Workshops including detailed planning, inviting key-note speakers, their boarding and lodging requirements, logistics, and content delivery. The document also covers outlines session structures, expert coordination, financial and property management guidelines and support strategies. It also includes frameworks for collecting and analyzing feedbacks from the speakers and participants to ensure a sustainable model for future workshops.

  • As the Chief Event Officer for the Defence Day Dinner (2014 & 2015), hosting over 3,500 guests to honor retired PAF officers and families of Shohada, I leveraged my experience to compile a comprehensive 300-page execution guide. This document detailed planning, execution, and monitoring strategies, ensuring seamless future events while incorporating structured corporate feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Documentation for revamping of Training Infrastructure of Combat Commanders’ School.

  • Shortfalls and subsequent enhancement in training of Quick Response Force (QRF) deployed at various PAF Bases for better handling of external threats.

  • Proposed a design for manufacturing and utilizing Ground based information, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance facility to assist in external threat handling.

  • Research and Presentation on “Legal Framework Order 2002”.

  • Quantitative Research on “Alternate Energy Resources of Pakistan” for fulfilment of MS requirement, followed by Presentation.

  • Technical Feasibility study and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) for replacement of old vintage Solid-State Identification of Friendly and Foe (SSIFF) system with JZ/XW-629 IFF interrogator (including encryption mode) for the complete inventory of PAF’s AN/TPS-42G Radar.

  • Conducted a comprehensive Local Market study for in-country spare support of High Level YLC-2 Radar.

  • Articulation of Project establishment document and various SOPs for Production Planning and Control (PPC) setup for the complete range of Avionics products (assemblies) of JF-17 Aircraft.

  • Compiled TCTOs and later successfully completed Standard-II modification of 46 Block-I JF-17 Aircrafts.

  • Establishment documentation for excellence center (repair & maintenance) for complete PAF’s inventory of Security & Surveillance Systems.

  • Developed comprehensive documentation for the specification verification of CCTV cameras and DVRs/NVRs at the Test & Trial Range, including SOPs for equipment setup, calibration and tool maintenance guidelines, data analysis protocols, and performance evaluation matrices.

  • Successfully completed development, integration and certification / qualification of five avionics sub-assemblies of JF-17 Aircraft. All five sub-assemblies are now part of PAF’s fleet of JF-17 aircraft.

  • Comprehensive study of Anomalous Propagation (AP) observed in YLC-II radar located at a remote location. Optimization of AP for clear radar picture.

  • Articulation of Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) data for AN/TPS-43G radar and distributed copies to all field units for their ready reference and utilization.

  • University Research & Presentation: Hardware designing of the Switching Power Supply of Personnel Computer for optimal performance; Its development and fabrication; Printed circuit board design and assembly (layouts, component placement); Testing procedures and documentation for future references.
